Hi y'all.

I hope everyone had a fine Christmas and that Santa brought you lots of nice toys!

After two weeks of working overtime at retail job, shopping, wrapping, cooking, and baking, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with family, I am SO ready to get back on the trail!

Hi, Pi,

Joyce, when she saw your (ahem) "reindeer" said "red" and pointed to his nose. I think she liked it. :)

Hi, Sally,

I can imagine! Yipes.

I got out on the trail yesterday with Joyce. Joyce is getting pretty big, plus I carry gear for the both of us. I was carrying about 50lbs yesterday. I think I need to do some shopping, wrapping, cooking, baking, and spend some time with the family so I can recover from hiking.
