Rick Kent - Five Times Baldy In One Day

Postby magikwalt » Fri Jun 26, 2009 5:13 pm

I have take the info below from a post put up by Cy and pasted it here. If you haven't read a few of the TR from his site take a look. I was struck by the way he is always out there hiking. He must have a job doing gear testing for a very prolific manufacturer.

Here is one for the record books and safer than doing two or three Skylines at this time. Rick Kent did FIVE Mt Baldy hikes in one day last Saturday from Manker Flats.
Thats about 18000 feet of elevation gain and loss.

This one is my favorite - A solo winter climb of Snow Creek in 2008 8)

Another good one was Heaton Flats (1600 ft) to Mt Baldy via Iron Mountain and back the same way.
