Red snow

Postby AlanK » Mon Jun 22, 2009 9:14 am

You asked "what's all this red stuff on the snow?" Turns out it's algae. Although Red Snow was also a British thermonuclear bomb.

algae huh? what a weird place to grow... I thought it was blood when I first saw it but it was too evenly spread around for that to make sense. Then I thought it was like fire retardant from a plane but hadn't heard of any fires lately so that didn't make sense. Then I thought it was red spray paint from some urban tagger gone mad, but that made no sense cuz there were no words. Then I thought I was just imagining it, took off my shades and it was still there, that made sense. pretty confusing... Then I got to the top of Baldy and only then did everything make sense!
