Two California climbers Jonny Copp of Fullerton and Micah Dash of Lancaster have come to grief climbing in China's high Sichuan mountains :(

I was quite into climbing as a young Marine and the fine line struggle was going on then in climbing. Acrobats flashing routes unseen, untried and free of ropes. It is the spirit of their adventures that light the flame for those who follow. May their family and friends find comfort in how bright their star was and knowing they loved what they did.

szechuan is one very fascinating province.
bordering yunnan to gansu, the terrain features go from lush, to high plains. it is geographically a part of the tibeten plateau
