Very cool video. The gal with the bloody knee reminds me of someone I know. That's a pretty rocky mountain. Those hikers must be part mountain goat. I don't think I'm quite ready for that hike yet!

Ah man, I love Indianhead. Thanks for that video Cy, that was cool.

I remember when I first saw it on the drive to Borrego Springs.. I couldn't stop imagining what it was like up there, above those steep rugged cliffs. Then I read about all the bighorn that dwell on the mountain and how natives performed religious rituals on the peak. It's my favorite mountain in Anza Borrego, hands down. Lore wise, look wise, and climbing wise.

That's pretty neat! It would be nice to know who was behind the camera...

This is one of my favorite hikes, very rugged and scenic. I was the cameraman and the other hikers are Richard, Ken, and Barbra (bloody leg). The easiest way up the mountain is the south ridge (class 2 with few class 3 moves). We climbed Cactus Poke Ridge that day (class 3 with couple class 4 moves). There are LOTS of sheep on that mountain! Some of them dont get scared even if you get within 5 ft of them.

heres some photos and the trip report that goes with the video: http://sangabrielmnts.myfreeforum.org/about4460.html
