Ccccold dropped to 30's already at 4000', had to get up and build a fire in the fireplace!

Just happen to flick on the tube and watched this episode of Mission Impossible from 1971, called "The Tram". filmed with action shots on the old tram...kinda cool, good footage. they shoot it out with the lower tram station!!! somehow, they climb down tower 1 and hop into a station wagon and drive away...

found this stuff, maybe it was left out of the version I saw..I usually wait till some hacked-up version hits primetime...

"Scenes from “Into the Wild” were shot at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway"
http://www.thecoachellavalleyartscene.com/2012/07/10/free-film-alert-into-the-wild-this-wednesday/

"while another scene was shot inside of a Tramway car as Hal Holbrook and Emile Hirsch ascend to the top of the mountain."
http://mountaingatenewsletter.blogspot.com/2009/09/mountain-gate-walk-of-fame.html

I suppose doesn't mean the version we saw had that portion in them!

Also not quite the Tram, but in an old 1963 classic called It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, we can see San J on a few occasions.. nice shot of the north face during some crazy driving scenes!
