You're in an apartment unit with multiple tenants? Is the whole building being treated? Seems like it would be worthless to treat just your unit. Might be better to look at the lease and see if you can break it early because to the bedbugs (they make the place untennable (sp?)), and move somewhere else.
FWIW: In 1989 I was in Ecuador, on the Amazon side of the Andes, at about 1200ft, and we slept under insect netting. Cool (or creepy) thing to do at night was to turn on a flashlight and see how many insects were on the outside of the netting and how they'd all be gone by sunrise! Really weird the first night, but pretty neat after that. Amazingly the big insects were the most benign; it was the little blood sucking ones you needed to avoid (mosquitos, other biting flies, fleas, reduviade bugs, etc).
