Well, sorta legit. To me, running a marathon means running in a race, which would be almost impossible, since nobody holds marathons M-F, only S and S. Still, he beat the previous guy, who only had 52, by a bazillion, so that's impressive. It said he ran about 4 1/2 hours a day. If he ran a real 26.2 in 4:30 every day for a year, that would be amazing. That's not real fast, at 10:30 per mile pace, but every day!? Even at my best, 183.4 miles per week of running is way beyond my ability. Let's hear it for Belgian beer! (Can you say 11.3%?)

There's a wonderfu Belgian ale named Delirium Tremens -- only 8.5% alcohol. It has pink elephants on the label. Wonderful beer, but pricey.

I also like White Hawk India Pale Ale (available in Trader Joe's). Thanks to Cynthia, who introduced me to White Hawk IPA after my hiking misdventure.

Miles of smiles,
