I get stuff on mine all the time. I clean it! It's easy! What kinda camera do you have? It costs a billion dollars to have a camera store do it.

It wasn't quite a billion to have the shop do it.....but I've ordered a cleaning kit for the sensor that was just a little less. Just a little. I have a Canon 30D.....not like just cleaning the lense anymore. :(

that camera has a pretty dirty life and takes lots of abuse.

So you know how to do it? Pretty easy huh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpSi27u4azQ

Mine gets dirty often too, I have a Nikon D70, comes in handy for driving tent stakes when the 10lb sledge isn't enough. 8)
One thing I do before I swipe it is to use that Rocket Blower thing. Even on the outside before I remove the lens.
I know it's not a billion but to pay someone a hundred bucks to put two drops on a swab is crazy! You know those guys laugh when someone brings it in to be cleaned.
