I actually gave the fire extinguishers out as a non-backpacking item. 8)

But I do LOVE the O'Tom tick tool ! Never even knew about it. Thanks !

I've never had the misfortune of having an embedded tick but my wife has. She wouldn't let me get it out and went to the local Doc-in-the-Box where the moron there CUT it out. The sore hurt for a week. I have some tick pliers but this thing looks even better than those.

I found it at Petco for $2.99. Such a deal.

I was sorry to hear of that problem Kathy, but thanks for alerting us all to that potential discomfort. I will get myself a tick twister to avoid getting ticked off.
