50 year old mystery in the Santa Rosa Mnts

This is about Sierra Clubber Louise Teagarden who disappeared in the Santa Rosa Mountains ?

This is an interesting story but the area that lady died was in the San Jacintos and not the Santa Rosas.

The part about finding decapitated Indian bodies fits in well with an old Indian tale. The Indians in Palm Canyon went to 1000 Palms and killed the chiefs, brought their heads back in nets and rolled them down Bullseye Rock. The Indian name for Bullseye Rock means, "The Place of Many Brains". Looking at the YouTube video, it seems like the area they were looking at is up north of Bullseye Rock.
