The article states: "Far past retirement age, Beckey has kept hard to the road, recruiting younger companions to split the cost of travel."

Sounds like the same Fred from twenty+ years ago...wonder if he still likes McDonalds' milk shakes.

I'm glad to see he's still doing it.
