1. What is YOUR favoroite camp site
2. How long is the hike to the summit
I know that is not as adventrous as some of you, but I am just getting ito shape and want an enjoyable experience.

It is a nice way to do things. My favorite camp site is Little Round Valley which is further, on the other side of the mountain, but I like it since it isn't quite as populous and a little less used by the Boy Scouts. Nothing against Boy Scouts, but they are a bit noisy some times. On the tram side of the mountain, Round Valley is nice. I'm not as familiar with Tamarack, but I've heard good things about it.
Don't forget that you must have a wilderness permit
for the site in which you wish to stay. Get your permit well inadvance. See

Here's a link to a map with all of the mileages marked. Depending on where you want to stay, you can just add up all of the mileages.
