Cell phone coverage

I'd like to email some "en route" photos (from cactus to clouds hike). Can anyone share back their experience w/ the signal? (my guess is coverage in first 1/2, not really higher up)

I don't have any exhaustive research to draw on, but judging from personal experience and others' posts herein, there is some coverage, but it's spotty on the stretch from PS to Long Valley, particularly higher up. Once past Long Valley, you probably won't get any signal although you never know. Once I walked 10 ft to the left of where I just had tried a call and got a really good signal.

So: there's some; you'd just have to trial and error it.

thnks... will do my 'cell phone to blog' photo updates from lower 1/2 of the trail. At top i'm close enuf the tram/drive home to do that stuff later.
