Saddle Junction to the Tram Via Skunk Cabbage

I'm looking for trail conditions from the saddle across skunk cabbage meadow and on to the tram. Planning a hike on 5/2.

Just based on the posts here, you'd probably be OK, but I'd call the ranger station in Idyllwild and double check. You might run into snow on Hidden Divide.
The bigger issue is the fire. Definitely call the R.S. and ask about closures.

Hi Lizard,
That area is closed, with an expected open possibly Sun.
You should be fine, I have only been to Hidden Devide (2 miles south of tram) and there is 15% coverage of crunchy or soft snow.
The rest, as it's lower & south facing has been reported to be fine.
Temps are great, 60's.
