Overnight parking at the tram parking?

Hey guys - Is overnight parking at the tram parking area allowed?

Overnight parking is allowed in lots A and B. You drive past the tram building and its the first two lots on the way down on the left hand side. The Bobcat lot holds three times as many cars as the first one. The gate at the bottom of the road opens at about 5 am but the first cable car on week ends is at 8 am

The last tram to come down is at 9:45pm so I assume that the gate to the Lower Tram station won't be closed until 10pm?

Also, are you or anybody going to be up there this Saturday? I'll be up there in the late afternoon.

10.00 pm sounds about right. It looks like you are camping up there. I will be there in the morning only. Are they keeping you in your cubicle all of Saturday morning or are you climbing another peak first?

Nope, I'm not camping up there. I'm hoping to make it to the summit via a route less traveled and be back at the tram station sometime before dark.

Summitpost has some folks going on this less travelled route also if its the same one. Scott Swaney also has a group going up there.

Hey Perry, got your email. I don't know of anybody that's doing "The Route Less Traveled". Of all the peeps that I know who are interested in the route, they all have done it. "The Route" won't be in condition for long so better get out there soon.

Probably would be best to keep this route on the down low since it is technically illegal. We were amazed that there's somewhat of trail heading up to the Chockstone. If you think pulling a rescue operation is difficult on the Skyline route, don't even bother with a rescue on this route.
