Rain this weekend ?

Postby Cy Kaicener » Fri Mar 14, 2008 7:34 am

There is a good chance of rain this Sunday in Palm Springs and possible snow on San Jacinto. San Bernadino should get rain on Saturday afternoon so it seems like a good idea to escape to Palm Springs if the freeway is dry.

Yes, a good weekend for the desert - I'm going to try to head up to Death Valley tonight if I can get my act together.

I'll be in Death Valley too. Gonna try 1 or 2 more new exploratory canyon descents near Natural Bridge Canyon.

Rick: I hope you had a good time in DV's canyons.

It was Skidoo to Tucki Mtn and back for me - a beautiful day in the Tucki Mountain area of the Panamints Saturday. By the time I got back down to Stovepipe Wells it was about 5 pm and it was cloudy and really windy - I was glad to be in my truck.

It rained a little last night.

I got snowed on like crazy Saturday heading down from Mt Baldy. Almost lost it twice driving down the Manker Flat road.

Trip report.
