Skyline conditions Sat April 13

perfect conditions. Flowers were blooming, air was clean, sky was clear. Leisurely 9 am start. Was warm, in the 70s, for most of the hike. Ran into a few hikers particularly in the first mile but felt like I had the mountain to myself for most of the day.

I brought spikes but never used them. Most of the snow is gone. I used existing postholes for traction but I recommend bringing spikes in case conditions change or if you finish up a different route. It was a challenge finding the trail during the last mile, partly because of the snow and partly because it's usually a challenge here.

Thanks for the report. Planning to head up on May 4th. Excited! And yes the last mile is always a bit tricky. Hoping the trails wear in a bit in the next two weeks!
