South Ridge yellow post campsites

Does anyone know if the campsites near South Ridge trailhead were affected by the fire? That is my son and my favorite area to camp. Thanks in advance. This is the spot: https://youtu.be/oK45RZJlrwM

South Ridge road currently closed and gated. However the Black Mtn road is open and has yellow post sites. No fires allowed.

Thanks Florian. I think we might start camping around Fuller Ridge. Thats a nice secluded area up there.

South Ridge yellow post sites are all intact (I think!)...the fire burned up to the south end of the plateau up there where they held the line (so I've heard!)....road still closed by a locked gate, not sure when it will be opened to the public?

There is a cool yellow post site at the seven pines trailhead (or seventy pines across the trail maybe more accurate). Rode my bike up there and hiked up to SJ that way a couple of weeks ago. A beautiful less traveled route up to the PCT with water at the upper North fork crossings . Less maintained also but easily followed.

Thanks for the info! Took my son to Fuller Ridge and loved camping there. We scrambled to the top of some boulders and could see down to Cabazon and Banning and of course San Gorgonio. Watched the sun go down then went back to our site. Beautiful area with huge trees up there!
