Cranston Fire Closure Order

The Forest Service has issued a temporary closure order for all San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mtn areas effective through August 31, 2018. All Forest Service trails, roads, and lands are closed to all entry by unauthorized persons. This includes Mt. San Jacinto State Park.

Let's hope we're able to at least hike in the state park fairly soon, (maybe they're keep the Willow Creek area closed a long time again,,,), but it seems that none of their property was effected? ss

Good news! The Forest Service will be reopening trails out of Idyllwild on Saturday. Devil's Slide, Deer Spring, Marion Mtn, Fuller Ridge, etc will reopen. South Ridge trail will remain closed. All trails in the Mt San Jacinto state park are also open.
