Looking for another hiker training for Cactus to Clouds

Postby adambenwang » Mon Apr 23, 2018 6:21 am

hi, I'm new to hiking/backpacking. Am in shape, as an endurance cyclist. Did San Gorgonio / Vivian Creek Trail as my first hike , without much trouble other than shoe fit.

I'm training for do Cactus to Clouds in October, and am looking for someone to do it with, whether a serious newb like me or someone who has done it before. Looking for a guy, english speaking, who is going to be ready to this at a decent pace.

Let me know if you are interested in joining me.

thank you,
Adam

Just kidding. What do you mean by English speaking? Anybody reading your post can speak English, and does it really matter?

Funny Perry, I think he just means he's enjoy some conversation on a long climb like Skyline?

Adam, I head from the tram to summit most weekends during the summer, I go a more challenging way, your welcome to join sometime.
It's not very long compared to Skyline, but a good trainer, plus altitude, and, your done around noon or 1pm!

Perry, I didn't mean anything pejorative by the English-speaking comment; I"m a chinese guy whose parents speak english with difficulty and I'm one of those crazy liberals. Just wanted someone who would be pleasant hiking partner that I'd be more likely to bond with.

Dear Guest/SS, I'd love to hike with you on a summer weekend. I will try to PM you through this website right now.
