Summit conditions?

I did Cactus to Clouds Wednesday April 4. There are a few areas with some slippery snow/ice, but mostly the snow/ice was soft. I did not take Microspikes and I am glad I didn't carry them all the way up there for 5 minutes of use. I did have trekking poles which I thought were more than adequate for the small amount of snow/ice that was left.

I'm heading up from the tram Sunday, which is the 1st day the winds will calm, according to NWS.
