Cactus to Clouds to Cactus Pictures & Trip Report 12/14

Here is Trip report with pictures taken by David Gillanders and Norma R before she leaves for Kilimanjaro. I had told them in advance that I would not go to the tram because of my limited experience in ice and snow.

Well Cy,
Your friends did a good job of biving, not what I'd want to do in those conditions. I'd imagine the conditions are potentially dangerous, as David made some mention of, considering there was possible ice under that new layer of snow, the kind where it's easy to slip & fall, even with an axe to arrest.
Looks like they didn't go far enough NW to Coffman's. Nice of them to post the photos. My suggestion, and maybe there's now, only do this trail if you really know this mountain in these conditions.

Glad there safe & warm again.
