missing Hilfiger jacket?

Hi all - apologies if this is an inappropriate place to post this, but I was on the Skyline trail today (Wed) and saw a stuff sack off the side of the trail, maybe 10 min walk above the 4300' rocks. I picked it up on the way back down, since I couldn't think of a reason why anyone would leave it there on purpose (and if so why they wouldn't have tried to at least hide it somewhat), just as I would pick anything artificial up.

If anyone is missing it (a navy blue jacket / windbreaker in a small stuff sack of similar color) let me know, or if there is something else you would recommend I do with it. I'm in palm springs for another day or so before returning home. It was a beautiful hike / run!
