Murray Hill Newbies

Howdy All :)

Cameron kindly took the three amigas (Sally, Marilyn and I) up Murray Hill yesterday. We started at the Bogart TH and went up Henderson to Shannon to Burgess to the top of Murray hill. It was toasty, so even with a 6 AM start we were whetting down the trails nicely  On the way up, Cameron stopped us at an interesting rock outcropping for a brief fluid stop and story. One time while reaching this landmark on the way to Murray, he met three very proper female snowbirds who were hiking while their husbands golfed. After introductions, one woman said to Camerson, "Well, you finally made the Nipple!" Indeed -- I'll never look at that landmark as anything other than, you know

Enjoyed brunch on Murray before heading down Wildlhorse to Garstin. On the climb and descent, we were treated to wonderful wildflowers and even a horned lizard. Whenever we had a breeze, we were in heaven. Sally and I were tempted by inviting neighborhood pools. By the time we reached our vehicles, we were quite ready for cold celebratory beverages. After a brief tailgate party, we headed to the original Las Casuelas -- I've been in withdrawal for two months.

I'm not "back" yet but hiking in the right direction -- uphill  Pics by Cameron.
