Went up Skyline on Saturday for the 32nd time, the first time since May, and the first hike since then, except for my plantar fasciitis disaster in June. Indie Jack was not feeling well, which slowed him down to my pace and gave me the pleasure of his company. Learned a great deal, I always wondered who sawed the logs across the trail for us.
Can't believe it when I see people coming down the trail after doing the summit, rather than taking the tram. More power to them, but the term hard-core doesn't do full justice to it.
