C2C Saturday 2/7/2015?

Hello all,

I'm heading out to the Museum Trailhead in the early morning tomorrow, taking a buddy for his first climb up Skyline. We should be off and running, oops - I mean walking around 3:30am. I have been monitoring the board for trail updates, and it would appear we are good to go to Long Valley. I assume there will be patches of the white stuff along the shady traverse and in Long Valley as I see on the webcam. Has anyone been the rest of the way to San Jacinto Peak the last few days? -- I am wondering if we can do the full deal with just micro spikes? If not, we will call it quits at the tram.
