An interesting article about the Giant Sequoias on the mountain. Anyone ever notice these?

Interesting, particularly in that they appear to be healthy. There are a number of Sequoias that have been planted around the southland. There are quite a number at Camp Radford (near Angelus Oaks), but I wouldn't say they look very healthy.

There are quite a few nice specimens growing right in Idyllwild. 2 of the most obvious are right off HWY 243 as you come into town near to Idyllwild School and Mile High Cafe. They are actually all over the place if you look. Don't know if they were planted or volunteers.
