Which trail was this marking?

I assume the trail up to Wellman Divide is not marked as closed, yes?

Correct Jim. That was the Willow Creek trail. The trail to tahquitz meadow was not roped off, but according to the map it is closed so I didn't bother to investigate further. The PCT moving north from Saddle Junction towards Wellmans was open.

Tahquitz Meadow should be open through Little Tahquitz Valley to the PCT.

On the map it appears that stretch is closed but it's kinda zoomed out so I'm not sure.

We went up Devil's Slide Monday 11/25. The PCT North was open as was the trail to Little Tahquitz Valley. HHJJ :D

I am SO happy to hear that the PCT north from Saddle Junction is open!

Thanks for a great TR and photos, bschmalz! Was the stretch that traverses the ridge right before you get to the tower very dicey with the snow? A couple of times I've chickened out of continuing at that spot when the trail was very icy.
