Did C to C yesterday from the museum trail to the tram station. First time. Weather was perfect with moderate temps below and very little ice on the upper section. Seven hours one way (7:30 - 2:30). Overall impressions:
1. What an awesome hike!
2. I downloaded a gps track of the route and glad I did. Route is fairly straight forward in the daylight but at night I can see how you could lose it easily.
3. Ice axe and crampons werent necessary yesterday, but I can sure see how they would be in upper exposed sections in the winter/spring. Know how to use them too.
Great info on this site, thanks for creating this resource!
