I wrote the state park regarding the trails opening at the tram & here is their response.


Hi Jim,

The Mount San Jacinto State Park staff submitted a plan to the district superintendent to reopen all trails this weekend except for the portion of the Willow Creek trail that is south of the High trail. It is likely our plan will be approved but we won’t know for sure until tomorrow. You may want to call the Idyllwild Ranger Station tomorrow or Friday to double check at 951-659-2607.
