Mosquitos

Hi, I have not hiked SJ in a LONG time but am lucky enough to be able to go this Fri-Sun. Will there be mosquitos this time of year? How about if I camp away from any water? I'm going with my 14yr son and don't plan on bringing a tent. Thanks for your advice. Aloha Andrew

I doubt you'll have much of a problem unless you camp in a meadow which I would not recommend. It's so dry this year I doubt they are very bad anywhere.
