We were up there a week ago, right after the warm spell had settled in. The Deer Springs Trail was fine, and the junction had just a bit of snow. We headed out toward Wellman/Strawberry Junction and had to turn back after about a mile because the snow was getting deep and my hiking partner had non WP shoes. We ran into a couple of hikers who had also turned back from the Round Valley direction because of snow depth. But it has been another fairly warm week, so snow depth should be lessening.
