Hey there,
Perhaps there is a better forum to post this in as it is not Jacinto specific, but this seems to be a site full of real trail advice. Had a question about San Gorgonio. I am familiar with San Jacinto Peak via Humber Park route and the snow level in general that time of year on that trail and up on the peak, but was wondering if it would be "normal" if in say April/May to be able to jam up the Vivian creek trail in regular trail runners or boots without need for anything else,barring a recent storm of course. I realize weather and conditions vary, just looking for general info. if possible. I appreciate the advice, and any help I can offer in return I will although it is limited to the SD area mostly. Thanks!

Howdy RickC

Heading up Vivian tomorrow. We will depart the trail after crossing the creek and head XC up the ridge to Dobbs. I'll post a TR on Friday.
