RMRU has this report of a fallen hiker with a head injury

Nine days ago I took LA Mike half way down to Flatrock as he had never been on this trail and needed to know about it in case he had to go there and look for a lost hiker. I took Lee there last Saturday to take pictures which he missed when he finished in the dark. He said that he took 300 pictures. My water cache at the shattered stump at 7200 feet was still there but only three quarters full. Lee took pictures of it which will soon be on this forum.

A little light on detail. Sounds like a trip and fall; could happen to anyone. Any updates? I hope the guy is OK.
