Hi Cy, thanks for posting this. I wondered about that too. To me it sounds like somewhere on the Art Smith trail, but that's just a guess. There was another rescue in that area a few weeks ago, too--in the Magnesia Canyon area.

From the location given it sounds like they were going up Magnesia
Falls canyon or x country in that area. However, Desert Sun reporting in these rescues is notoriously poor so who knows?
