Skyline?

Postby Stockwell » Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:57 am

Now that my partner and I have completed, San J, San G, and Whitney, as well as hopefully Baldy in the next few weeks, we were looking to try something HARD this coming Fall, before the snow starts. We also plan on having a big winter 8) Anyways, Rabbit and Villager peaks were something we thought of, but I wanted to consider Skyline.

I was just wondering what kind of Beta: Trip Reports, Pictures, Topo Maps and GPX Files, I could get here. I've read many typed trip reports on the board, and it seems like 10,000 feet of gain is exactly what were looking for. But that's nearly all I know about the trail.

Appreciate the help in advance, I'm excited to get back to San J.

Somewhere around 10,400 feet of vertical is the full C2C.

I want to emphasize the site above:

As I used everything on there for my first C2C. As an experienced hiker you will know alot of that already, but I think C2C is pretty unique and that site covers it well.

And even though its covered well, water, water, water.
October can still be very hot.
