Howdy All :)

Headed up on Saturday with Ania, Randy, Erica and Glenn -- it was their first time on Fuller. Had fun bouncing up the dirt road in Glenn's truck with the windows rolled down 8) It was actually a little cool when we started, which was quite refreshing.

I think this is one of the prettiest trails in the San Jacinto's. We did not run into any else until we reached the Deer Springs junction. At Little Round Valley, I met Deb coming down. She had the entire peak to herself for 45 minutes (ah!). Deb left when a woman wearing a skirt but no underwear bent over to adjust her boot.

We opted to bypass San Jacinto at the saddle and headed XC over to Jean peak -- this was my first summer summit of Jean. Between the brush and the rocks, I had a few new demonic cougar scratches when we summited. Enjoyed a lovely lunch, then headed down. We stopped by a delightful spring on Fuller Ridge to soak our feet and get our hair wet. I warned my friends that there was a final climb up to Castle Rocks -- Randy chided me for destroying his illusion that the climb was over  Enjoyed pizza in Idlylwild before heading home.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Nice one, Ellen (well, except for that boot adjustment eyesore). Got pics? I've got to get over that way soon. :)

Where'd you get the pizza in 'wild?
