Emergency Water on Skyline

+1 karma point for me. I hauled a gallon jug up to the emergency water station between Rescue#2 and Lunch Rock on Saturday. Of course, it's unlikely any of you folks reading this will need it but I'm hoping it helps at least one poor soul this season.

I meant to grab some of the empty bottles but forgot. If anyone wants to grab some of the empties from that station that might be useful. I'll try to haul another one up there next week and cart off some empties.

Is the emergency water cache what you cool cats are referring to as "Florian's cache"?

Anything else I could bring up to help? I've never opened one of the Rescue boxes? What would I bring for one of them, a 1.5L bottle?

Carl, I shall let you bless yourself with my Holy Water, but only after solo'ing Coffman's crag and running barefoot up to lunch rock. Video evidence is required, of course.

More seriously: who manages the Rescue boxes? Do they need water??

anytime you wanna put water in them, help yourself, they are there for everyone to fill....theyve been getting abused..they always do when the weather warms up. people just don't know themselves well enough.

what really amazes me is how they can be filled one day and empty the next..and I don't think they get emptied by people in dire straights...
