It was an absolutely gorgeous day with perfect temperatures. I wore shorts and t-shirt and carried warmer clothes, some of which fell out of my pack. Fortunately, my down jacket and fleece beanie did not -- I needed these when Indie Jack and I reached the traverse. There's a new dusting of snow and we donned microspikes. The trail is easy to follow -- I could see Doug's footprints from Thursday. Although the microspikes helped with traction, I had to periodically kick off snow balls forming underneath. We removed the spikes at Grubbs Notch and scrambled up the rocks. After a great lunch at guess where
