Indie Jack and I encountered one other hiker who was hiking up to 4 K and back. In case you are reading this board, THANKS SO MUCH for picking up my Patagonia shirt and gloves and carrying them back to the trail head at the museum. These items fell out of my pack and I didn't realize this until I was at 5.5 K.
You and other trail angels restore my faith in humanity, especially after seeing the big pile of trash at the first rescue box.
