Here we go again.....

Last May a high school buddy and I failed (a trail wandering/postholing whiff) to summit from the tram due mostly to snow conditions and my newly acquired fitness level that (sadly) fizzled late in the day. GUH!

This year we'll return (three of us fifty-ish dewds this time) to take care of unfinished business on Thursday May 18. Hopefully the snow conditions will be much improved (in fact San Jac already appears to be less white on top than last year this time).

Anyways, I'll be monitoring the board again for the latest trail conditions and of course the general amusement that goes along with trolling this site and the regular hikers that inhabit this space......

Appreciate the sentiment Lcpl Hughes. I've been following the board for about a year now, and as a result have acquired a sincere appreciation for the job that you and your team tackle on a daily basis. A job very well done Sir. Hope we never need your crew, but very good to know you folks are out there for us new-ish hikers.
