Murray Peak

Postby halhiker » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:13 pm

Went out and did Murray Peak today and it was PERFECT. I did a GPS track but unfortunately I set it to record every 100 feet instead of every 10 so it wasn't very accurate. It just jumped over a bunch of the switchbacks. I'll know better next time.

Here's a little trip report.

Cool. I like that hill. Uphills like Murray are good caus they build up the same muscles you need for sprinting/bein faster. I do it 2-3 times a week, when im not running South Lykken or Fern. I start at Vons though and go up the other side. That takes me bout 55 minutes walking to get to top. I come back and run the way you went out though....the wildhorse trail way.

Hey Hal, nice little report, I did it the other day, fun hike. By the way, any chance you can make Picacho Sunday?
