Snowshoes Necessary?

Are snowshoes still necessary between the tram station and the summit?

Necessary..... No, but they will make your life easier on the side of Miller going up to the saddle. With all this warm weather we saw lots of boot tracks breaking through the Manzanita on Sunday and was glad we had them.
