PCT to tram this Friday

Howdy All,

I know this is short notice, but based on the weather coming in, I suspect tomorrow and Friday will be the last two days this hike is doable this Fall.

I am dedicating the hike to slain Riverside Police Officer Ryan Bonaminio and will carry an American flag bandana from the desert floor to the top of San Jacinto in his honor.

Would love to have company if someone feels a "sick day" coming on One of the advantages of being self-employed.

Howdy All

I realize that it's difficult for folks to hike on a weekday. If anyone gets off early tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, would love to see your smiling face if you're interested in hiking from the tram to the summit of San Jacinto

I am anticipating the hike will take between 12 and 14 hours. I will leave around 3 AM so I am not chasing the daylight coming down from the summit. My SPOT page should have my departure time.

I will be carrying an American flag bandana to honor slain Riverside Officer and Iraq veteran Ryan Bonaminio. I am also dedicating this hike to those who serve and protect us -- military, police, fire fighters. and SAR.
