My Christmas Tree

Although i wasn't on skyline this weekend-I heard that someone has ONCE again taken the ornaments from my tree as you approach coffmans crag. Word to the wise, leave my tree alone, worry about picking up the trash from careless people instead please.

...she's threatening to decorate every frickin tree in the traverse...I thought that actually would be pretty cool.

Who ever it is taking the ornaments down (most likely some sierra club person, cleaning up the wilderness) we have a new tree, with ornaments, hidden...try to find it.

Tina, I haven't seen your tree, but I think that's an awesome idea. I'm sure you wouldn't mind a few more adornments....I bet I could scratch up a few wilderness worthy pieces from the old Xmas deco stash.

Tina...I saw your decorated tree two weeks ago on c2c2c. The funny thing is i didn't see it on the way up but only on the way down go figure. Either way, it looked great, was tastefully done and my hiking partner and I both enjoyed it.

I saw it October 16th, around 1pm and it put a smile on my face. I stopped to take a picture of it, which I would upload if this forum database werent smarter than me

@ sd-i put up the new decorations after you went up so yes you would have seen them on your way down for sure.

@ andy-thank you, the more the marrier. i will be putting a lot up november 6th during the back to back.

@ hawkbill-you captured a great pic of my tree. i try to keep it a classy tree. last year i went with all snowman theme but then someone took thoughs down. this year i was going with all blue but that is now gone. i will try for santa november 6th and/or anything xmasy. i love this tree and it has special meaning to me. if it makes any other person smile then i have done my job.
