A hiker went missing in Joshua Tree on Friday and still has not been found.

Long lag between disappearance and search - 3 days is a long time to hang on in this heat. Hope he has water and shade.

I guess the guy went away for the weekend and then when he didn't come home on Sunday people got worried and called the authorities. They started searching today. There's not any water up there that I know of and not much shade. Let's hope they find him soon.

Hi lipbiter. I did that but all the articles were very brief. I'd like to read an interview and find what he's been up to the past few days. Sure glad he made it - we're all one wrong turn from ending up in his situation. Well, except for I carry a Spot. And follow Steve and Fern around with all their extra food and water. But besides that...
