Roger we will miss you

Postby bluerail » Sun Sep 19, 2010 8:59 pm

We've lost a very good friend at the tram. Roger, who many of us new and considered family, passed away suddenly this weekend. I want to send my deepest sympathy to his family and his family at the tram. I can't imagine what it's going to be like not seeing him again. He had become such a wonderful part of my trips up the hill. Getting to see him and visit with him when I'd get up there was always something I looked forward to.

He will be very missed.

And yes, tram is closed until Oct. 4th as Florian mentioned.

I don't even know what to say. Roger was very cool, and I always enjoyed chatting with him. This is unexpected. I thought he would be working at the tram for years to come.

I am sad to hear about Roger. He was always very kind to me and was a comforting presence on the tram. He was still a young man and his death must be a sad shock to his family. My sympathies to them.

Dam, I am stunned! Roger has such a kind spirit, always enjoyed chatting with him up & down the tram.
He really loved the forest like many of us, and would seek out the peace it offered.
He will truly be missed by many.
I know his spirit continues, probably hanging out somewhere up in the trees!
