? I have a compressed sleeping bag and am still looking into not-so-expensive gear for some good few-dayers over the summer and fall so any advice is appreciated. I've looked into conditioning for a few good hikes/backpackers in June and will be trying the local trials around my area for exercise. When I found this site, I just had to join. I'm looking to meet great hiking enthusiasts and open to all the great advice you folks can give.
Trails such as San Gabriels, San Gorgonios, Lake Arrowhead/Big Bears, Santa Monica mountains, etc. are on my list so I'm hoping to be ready for them soon. Again, all advice is welcome and I'll certainly be throwing questions out as well.
