A hiker was rescued near the tram. Very few details are available at this time.

Marine doing skyline. Found him at the 7300ft lvl. Took almost 3 hours to get him 1000ft up.

Thank you for doing a great job. At least the marines are not scheduling group hikes up there any more since a whole bunch were rescued a while back.
Did he mention at what time he started and how long he was hiking?

when we were leaving lower tram station, were like 6 guys sitting around with a police officer. not sure if related

His group of 3 started at 5am, we finished just before dark.

You saw his marine friends waiting for his return.

I didn't do much, park service ran the opp.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of these rescue folks are marines???

it's not just you sis....and it doesn't seem to matter whether they're young ones, or old ones (apparently smarter). weird isn't it ? where is it they send these guys ? warm places, right ?
